GOD'S GRACE: Has Something Changed?

If living in holiness was not the central part of our relationship with God, Adam wouldn't have been thrown out of Eden and Jesus wouldn't have died on the cross so we could be reconciled with a Holy God. Has something changed? No. We still have FREE WILL to choose to live in holiness or be thrown out (this time to hell). In His grace, the work of Jesus on the cross has given us THE WAY to get back to Holiness so we can be with a Holy God.

WHY THEN WOULD SOMEONE WALK OVER GOD'S GRACE BY PRETENDING IT CAN BE USED AS A LICENSE TO STILL BE A PART OF THIS CORRUPTED WORLD?

GOD's grace is not a step up so so God can be reached, but rather the rope by which our eternal life hangs on to. I insist, some prefer to walk over God's grace as if they can continue doing the very thing that Jesus paid the price for instead of hanging on and embracing His grace by living in holiness; they lie, blaspheme, spend their money on entertainment that glorifies sin, and go about it as if God's grace is sufficient to cover up living a mundane and sinful lifestyle. NO!

"For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God." (‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭4‬:‭24‬ ESV) The blood of Jesus has washed us of our sin ("...has freed us from our sins by his blood." Revelation‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ESV) and GOD'S GRACE GIVES US THE ABILITY TO LIVE IN HOLINESS ("...For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age," ‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11-12‬ ESV), so that our hearts and minds can be aligned with God, set apart (that's what "holiness" means) from sin and the corruption of this world.
